Impress your Valentine, or just yourself, with a variety of jewellery items loosely themed around hearts.
This one is a little bit like building blocks - we'll learn a few techniques, then apply them to different jewellery situations. You get to choose colour schemes, beads, finished size, etc, so what you make will be unique to your own style.
It's an excuse to have a go and take home some new earrings, a necklace, or an intricately beaded pendant / brooch, which you can wear at any time!
Suitable for all, including beginners. Those with more experience will have the chance to try more challenging work.

Rings For Spring

Rings for every occasion! Simple, stylish, or outrageously fussy, it's up to you!
Learn to make a variety of rings using colourful beads and wire.
I'll show you a variety of methods and styles, and you will make them. After that, you can choose your own combinations to work on. Take home everything you make! You'll have enough to give some of them away as gifts!
Suitable for all, including beginners. Those with more experience will have the chance to try more challenging rings.

Tealights - bejewelled jars for hanging or standing

Light up your life, with a twinkly, jewelled tea-light or two. Hang them in a tree outside, or stand in your windowsill and take a luxurious, candlelit bath - these lights are beautiful and versatile.
Learn to make tea light holders using recycled jars, and colourful beads and wire.
I'll show you a variety of methods and styles, and you will make them. After that, you can choose your own combinations to work on. Take home everything you make!

All of these workshops are part of the Artcraft programme at Stephen Smith's in Otley. The sessions include all materials, expert tuition, use of tools and a friendly atmosphere. Workshops will start at 9.45am, finishing at 2.45pm (5 hours including lunch break). The cost is £25 each, payable at least 7 days before to avoid disappointment.
